Los Prados
Los Prados has been around for awhile. The initial construction began in the late 80's and was completed around 1998. There are several "communities"(22 in all) inside Los Prados approximately 1/2 of which are age restricted. It is guard gated. There is a clubhouse with a restaurant and 2 pools, one of which is for adults only. The community is built around an 18 hole golf course. By Las Vegas standards, the golf course adjacent homes are relatively inexpensive. Shopping is convenient. Some homes are attached, townhome style, but most are freestanding. Additional amenities include tennis courts and walking trails. What you have at Los Prados is substantially more grass, trees and water than you will have in any of the newer planned communities. The elevation at Los Prados ranges from 2,216 ft. to 2,300 ft. above sea level.
The golf course here is owned by the residents of the community. It is 4937 yards and a par 70.
